Your responsibilities:
Join our new start up as Application Architect!
The successful candidate will
- work with the marketing team to develop long-term product strategy
- translate long-term market needs along with Internet and Mobile technical strategies to specify future
architectural needs
- evaluate other products regularly to get knowledge of current state-of-the-art technologies
- assist Software Engineering team in design review processes and if required develop actual software routines
- integrate elements of new standards or developments into Mobile Travel products
- need to communicate with peers in Software Engineering, Product Marketing, Technology and Operations on a regular basis, assisting the process of setting priorities and schedules
- be the head of a team of application engineers
Your qualification:
- Bachelor of sciences / Master of sciences in computing, Electric Engineering or equivalent
You should be familiar with these issues:
- Knowledge in UML, DCOM, CORBA, XML, WML
- Profound knowledge in EJB and Java application server as well as Internet-based web-server applications optimised for a mobile environment
The experience needed:
- 5 year work experience required
- Demonstrated ability in shipping a software product through the entire development and testing process
- Experience in object-oriented design and programming

Application Engineer
Your responsibilities:
Join our new start up as Application Engineer!
The successful candidate will
- contribute with his/her expertise to the design and development of various applications comprising Mobile Travel's
travel portal product
- capture product specifications from marketing requirements documentation and transform them into working
engineering specifications
- lead design effort (supervising junior engineers if needed) and implement the design.
- be able to track state of the art developments in web and mobile based e-commerce applications and overall
evolving internet standards as well as evolving trends in the travel industry.
Your qualification:
- Bachelor of Science / Master of Science in Computer Science, Electric Engineering or equivalent
You should be familiar with these issues:
- Expert knowledge in object oriented design and programming
- Experiences in database access are preferable
- Ideally knowledge in C++, Java, DCOM, CORBA, XML, WML and EJB
- Good understanding of Internet-based web-server applications optimised for a mobile environment
The experience needed:
- Two years work experience
- Experience in the entire software development process including testing and shipping of the product
- Experience in mobile environments and travel industry is extremely beneficial
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
